Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Santa Maria, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Delicious food, good portions, and decent prices. I came in for a late breakfast and the food hit the spot. The owner is taking orders, waiting tables and running food while the kitchen pumps out meals. Nevertheless, the wait time isnβt long at all and we were checked on throughout the meal. We will definitely be coming back here!!

I really love the food and I quite enjoy how quiet it can be. If you love carbs and meat you'll love this place. Also the person in front the funny dude explained to my husband and I about halo halo. The whole history of each fruit and what it meant and the deeper connection it had with the Philippines. It was such an enjoyable talk and I still love going there for all the meat dishes.

FoodTrip is a restaurant that truly feels like home. What makes it stand out most is that every dish is cooked fresh right after you order. The food has that comforting homemade quality that's hard to find. We tried a great variety of dishes, and every one of them delivered. The crispy pata was perfectly crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The pansit was well seasoned, while the longsilog tasted exactly like a classic home cooked Filipino breakfast. The pork barbecue was juicy and packed with flavor. To finish we had halo halo for dessert which was refreshing and the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Beyond the food the hospitality at FoodTrip made the experience even better! The staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Overall FoodTrip isn't just a place to eat it's a place to enjoy fresh authentic Filipino food served with warmth and heart. Thank you so much Gem and Relly!

When we first stepped in, it smelled like the Philippines!!! It reminded us of when my husband and I went to SM Mall at one of their cafeterias. We were greeted and had AMAZING customer service. We felt at homeβ¦ LITERALLY felt like we were at home with our Filipino families cooking. We wanted to try our favorite dishes and they were all authentic and delicious. The shrimp sinigang and tortang talong were my favorite!! We are definitely coming back with more friends and family to try other foods. This place is a perfect for big family gathering or for friends to try Filipino food for the first time. Weβre looking to our next FoodTrip π

Supper authentic and friendly, was finally able to visit this restaurant with my family and will go back to try other dishes. I like the a la cart aspect to the menu that way we can try multiple proteins, very humble server and pretty fast service for only seeing one server and assuming one or two cooks
